What is a One-to-One Group?

It is a focused group of 4-5 people who are committed to sharing
their faith in their personal relationships. The objective is not
maintaining a group, but "spurring" one another to share faith
regularly.

THE MISSION: Extending the kingdom of God...one person at a time.

THE FOCUS: Building relationships with nonbelievers.

THE PERSPECTIVE: Inclusive and non-adversarial.

THE METHOD: Building trust through character and consistency.

HOW DOES THE GROUP GET EQUIPPED? By studying materials on how to share your faith.

ONE-TO-ONE LISTS: Ask God to give you five people who need
Christ for which you will pray daily.

TARGETS: It can be a neighbor, a family member, a co-worker, or a
friend. Anyone who gives evidence of spiritual hunger or seems open to
your friendship

QUESTIONS: Learning to ask questions that allow people to talk
about what matters to them. Not all about yourself, but genuinely
interested in their life. Not authoritarian or condescending, but simple
friendship.

SHARING-SERVING: Giving individuals something of yourself, not
just spiritual truths.

COMMITMENT: Be accountable to your group to share your faith,
and learn how and
when to share your testimony.

FOLLOW-UP: Accept responsibility to assist new believers in personal
growth by providing friendship and Biblical materials.

REPLICATION: Be committed to teach new believers how to share
their faith and lead others to Christ.
